| Q: | Why would I ship my notebook to you, rather than taking it to a local repair shop? |
| A: | We specialize in notebook repair. Many “big box” stores and local computer shops claim to offer notebook repair, but actually ship your notebook off to an out-of-state repair facility. At Notebook Mechanix, our in-house technicians will diagnose and repair your notebook, quickly and reliably. |
| Q: | How much will it cost to repair my notebook? |
| A: | That's a good question and we have a simple answer. We offer “flat rate” laptop repair. And yes, our flat rate prices include most parts. Choosing one of our flat rate repair options takes the guess work out of how much your repair will cost. (Not included in our flat rates are LCD screens, motherboards, and repairs involving more than one problem or defective part.) |
| Q: | My child/pet/neighbor/spouse/roommate broke my laptop’s LCD screen. I see this is not included in your flat rate repair. How much will it cost? |

| Q: | What happens if my repair is not covered under your flat rate service? |
| A: | Be sure to remember that the vast majority of repairs do fall under our flat rate pricing. In the rare case that your notebook requires a replacement motherboard, LCD panel or has multiple defective parts, we will contact you with an estimate before completing the additional repairs. (Extra repairs may incur additional costs and may increase your expected turnaround time.) |
| Q: | What if the extra repairs are too expensive for me? |
| A: | I’m glad you asked! If additional repairs are required, we will contact you before completing them. If you decide NOT to have the repair completed, you will only be charged a $49 diagnostic fee and return shipping. We will carefully pack your notebook, ship it back to you, and refund the difference to your credit card. |
| Q: | I live near Wichita, can I bring my laptop to you to repair? |

| Q: | How much will the shipping charges be? |
